Meet Sarah
Sarah Marrie has been in the beauty industry for nearly two decades. Her career started at the young age of 18, with modeling and working behind the makeup counter at Macy’s. All of that experience was pivotal in launching her into the professional makeup world. She is our resident makeup educator and has been working side by side with Darling and Dapper for the past 8 years. She is a wedding guru, servicing roughly 50 weddings every year. It’s no mistake she has been aptly nicknamed “the bride whisperer” for her invaluable calming presence and leadership. She owns and operates Sweet Face Makeup & Cosmetic Tattoo which opened in 2021. In her salon, (which is down the hall from Darling and Dapper) she focuses on a natural tattooed brow. “So natural, your friends think you just did your makeup REALLY well.”
She graduated from Miracle Beauty School (2021) and Danessa Myricks International School of Beauty (2020). She has worked on several independent movies and commercials in the greater Hampton Roads area. When she’s not empowering women to be and feel their absolute best, you can find Sarah in the kitchen or behind the bar, reading (audiobooks), on the comedy stage (she’ll tell you how funny she thinks she is), or exploring the world with her husband and Goldendoodle, Odessa.
