Life is short, work somewhere rad

It’s so spacious and comfy – we support each other’s goals, and are all willing to help each other achieve them.  It’s like a built-in hype squad for you.

We’re all a little weird, a little alien – we’re like mavericks.  Trailblazers in our own right, and we’re given the space to be.  We don’t feel like we have to be beige to fit in.  It’s amazing.

 I’ve never felt more grown up, like a true professional with space to grow and be the artist I want to be.  The salon is so positive and uplifting – even though we all go through our own things, the atmosphere never changes, despite life life-ing.  It’s refreshing.

I’ve been here since 2017, so that probably speaks for itself.  We’re diverse, but all share the same values.

It’s such a positive space to work in – our collective goal is more about comfortability and feeling like we truly belong vs. just how we look or trying to change to fit into a box.

 I love that we have space to learn and grow – it’s welcomed and encouraged.  And there’s no forced friendships, we all actually and genuinely like each other.

 I don’t go home feeling anxiety ridden.  It’s calming, spaced out, and relaxing.  I couldn’t ask for anything more in a work environment.

Working at Darling and Dapper doesn’t feel like work—it feels like home. The environment is warm, welcoming, and filled with genuine connection. Even though I’m not there every day, each time I walk through the door, it feels as though no time has passed. I know I belong here.

What sets this team apart is the unwavering support and care we show one another. I feel truly seen, valued, and loved by my teammates. There’s no “mean girl” culture—just kindness, acceptance, and encouragement. At Darling and Dapper, we lift each other up.

Our culture is built on love, growth, confidence, and connection. And with ongoing opportunities for continued education, I’m always inspired to learn and evolve—both personally and professionally. I’m proud to be a part of this incredible team.
